Home Builders Federation

The Home Builders Federation (HBF) represents private housebuilders in England and Wales. The HBF is committed to promoting best practice within the house building industry. It is working in partnership with others to deliver sustainable and commercially realistic solutions to meet Britain's housing needs.

Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment

CABE is the government's advisor on architecture, urban design and public space. CABE help local planners apply national design policy and advise developers and architects, persuading them to put people’s needs first. CABE seek to inspire the public to demand more from their buildings and spaces. Advising, influencing and inspiring, CABE work to create well-designed, welcoming places.

Civic Trust

The Civic Trust is dedicated to bringing vitality, sustainability and high quality design to the built environment. It has almost 900 Civic Societies across the country and over 330,000 individual members supporting its work. The Civic Trust raises awareness of the need to create environments which bring out the best in people, celebrates the best places, and expects the highest quality for all communities.

Design for Homes

Design for Homes is a not-for-profit limited company championing the value of good design in the housing industry. Design for Homes co-ordinate the Building for Life standard awards.

English Partnerships

English Partnerships (EP) is the national regeneration agency helping the government to support high quality sustainable growth in England.  English Partnerships’ aim is to achieve high-quality, well-designed, sustainable places for people to live, work and enjoy.

Housing Corporation

The Housing Corporation fund and regulate the provision of social rented affordable homes in England. The Housing Corporation want to improve access to homes people can afford and help create or re-create vibrant, mixed use, mixed tenure developments with excellent community facilities, an attractive public realm, strong local economies and an inclusive environment.
